Meanwhile, of course, we are far removed from that era, but we have not become less clamorous for attention. Like an inspired brass band in a kiosk or enthusiastic buskers on the Meir - Korpus Kwartet puts together a programme that puts the horn in the spotlight. With music by Kurt Weill, Gioachino Rossini and Paul Hindemith, among others, and with extremes from the most fiery signal to the sweetest timbre, four horn players guide you through history in their own unique way.
